Harry Edmunds General Not at all. Different color tank cars can haul the same commodity. As an example, liquified petroleum gas (propane) is hauled in black, white, blue or other colored tank cars. Chlorine may be carried in different colored tanks. The color of the car seldom has any indication of the commodity hauled. 12/6/2014 12:00:46 AM
David Waters General Thanks Harry, when the tanker says it is carrying ( chlorine, for instance ) it can carry that product only, that would make sense to me???? 12/6/2014 7:44:57 AM
